Black Hound has been and invaluable asset to my company. We have hired them several times for all types of projects. I operate a commercial photography studio with a focus on food and beverage. Often times I need custom sets built in a hurry and Black Hound is always my first call. My clients need super particular wood surfaces, and sets for all types of different commercial photography projects, and Black Hound has always delivered my last min. requests in superior fashion. In addition to hiring them for set design, I've also hired them to build custom furniture for my photo studio. They have build a digital capture station with wheels for our computer systems, as well has perfectly positioned tables for our food stylists to work at comfortably. The best of all though, is the Hydro Table. I approached James with a space issue in the studio. I had and issue for clients needing a place to work, as well as a coffee table as well as a table for the whole crew and clients to sit down at for lunch. James and Black Hound created a massive solid wooden table that is on hydraulics! It raises and lowers to different levels depending on how you need to use it. I'm pretty sure it's one of a kind, and positive it's totally custom!

I came to Black Hound Design with hopes of recreating a copper kitchen table I had in the past, the team exceeded the functionality of what I could have imagined. It acts as a dining table as well as angles up degrees for use as a drawing table and exposing storage. The coffee table was inspired by a collaboration of references and again I am so thrilled how it came out. Both pieces completed my small New York apartment. It was so easy to work with the team and will definitely come back for more designs.
